Why Can It Take So Long For A Transaction To Show Up?
We are dependent on the retailers reporting back to us 'validated' sales.
A 'validated' transaction means the retailer has acknowledged cashback is due and we are waiting for the commission payment from the retailer, which we then pass on to the member.
Every retailer has different policies.
Some authorise cashback almost instantly, however, many wait until their 'product return or cancellation date' has expired. If you have pre-ordered products, the sale might not be validated until it is shipped. In the case of holidays, flights etc, a sale might not be validated until the departure date.
Please wait at least 5 days after your purchase before opening a ‘missing cashback’ support ticket.
Please note that we may not be able to accept ‘missing cashback tickets’ after 5 days for retailers that historically take longer to track. We will then check the average tracking times for the retailer in question and let you know when you can resubmit a ticket.
If the support ticket is approved, we will contact the retailer and advise you when your cashback is likely to be showing in your We Promise To account.
